Something that I have been more and more interested in is EDC (Every Day Carry). For whatever reason, I find it so fascinating to read and watch videos on different peoples EDC. I thought I would throw my hat in the ring and share with you all what my EDC looks like for 2024.

First let’s start off with the phone. I am currently carrying a iPhone 15 Pro in Natural Titanium. I really enjoy the look and feel of this phone. It feels so nice to hold without a case. Since I do have kids in the house, I tends to have a case on it when I am around them. The case I have been going with lately is the Nomad Leather case. This case is so nice! The buttons are nice and clicky. The sides of the case are rubberized so it makes it nice to hold in the hand, but still slides in and out of the pocket with ease.

Moving on from the phone we head to the wallet. The wallet I have been using for a few years is the Hershel Charlie Cardholder Wallet. This is a super nice, slime, minimal wallet. Currently, I have it holding 8 cards and it has a slot in the middle to hold some cash. It fits nicely in my front pocket and does not take up a bunch of space.

Along with my wallet I have two other items in my front pocket: apen and a multitool. The pen is from Big Idea Design. It is their Dual Side Click Pen in Titanium Stonewashed. This is a beautiful pen. While it may be beautiful, if it doesn’t write well, then it doesn’t matter. I am happy to report that it passes that test. In addition, I have the Gerber Gear Multitool. This is a nice addition to my everyday carry. This multitool has a pocket knife, screwdriver bit for both Philips and flat head, as well as a bottle opener. It’s slim and fits in my pocket nicely.

Moving to the back pocket, here if where I keep my pocket notebook. I am using the Field Notes Memo Notebook. These sit in a lovely leather cover from Bellroy. The combination of the Field Notes Memo notebook with the Bellroy Notebook Cover are an amazing combination. The notebook cover has room to fit one notebook, some slots for business cards, and the icing on the cake is that there is a magnet closure so you know your notebook cover is going to stay closed. It is slim and has room for a pen as well. The pen I have attached to my notebook cover is the Big Ideas Design Ti Pocket Pro pen. This pen is the perfect auto adjusting EDC pen. This pen can accommodate over 80 different refills. It slides nicely right into the Bellboy Notebook cover and doesn’t add any bulk. Again, while the pen looks awesome, it also write really well. Perfect for those time when you need to quickly jot down an idea.

While this next area isn’t technically something in my pocket, it is something that hangs right next to a pocket, my keys. I am using the S-Biner SlideLock Carabiner. I have used many carabiners in the past and I really like this one due to its dual locking system. I can lock the side of the carabiner that holds my keys and I do not have to worry about them accidentally going out and falling off. My keys are housed in a Keysmart AirTag Holder. This is nice because not only does it hold my keys, but also an AirTag so I don’t have to have one more thing on a keyring. Along with my keys, I have the KeyUnity Titanium Mini LED Keychain Flashlight. This little flashlight takes up nearly no room on my keyring, and still provides ample light with a little twist.

Finally, moving to the wrist. I use to wear an Apple Watch, but missed wearing a traditional watch. Not to mention, it just became a distraction for me. I have been without my Apple Watch for over a year now, and I am not looking back. While I have a nice little rotation of watches I wear, the one I wear more than others is my Nixon Partol Classic Watch in black. This one has a special meaning since my kids got it for me for Father’s Day last year.

That concludes my EDC for Q1 in 2024. While I know this is a post about my EDC in Q1, I really think I have a nice little setup here. I will keep you all posted if anything changes. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and read.
